The Enchanted Forest is known as the “Flagship” sanctuary in Brevard County’s Environmental Endangered Lands (EEL) Program. This 393 acre property was the first to be purchased under the EEL Program. The central feature of the Enchanted Forest is a sand ridge that is a remnant barrier island marking the last Pleistocene interglacial.
